Cornell Muslim Alumni, and its fundraising vehicle, The Diwan Foundation, are run entirely by alumni volunteers. Here’s how you can help out.

2. Fundraise for Us
Our flagship Muslim Chaplaincy Initiative requires $85,000 in contributions per year, and we need all the support we can get.
Make a small monthly donation to support our flagship Muslim Chaplaincy Initiative, or if you’re a fundraising maestro, organize a campaign to raise funds from your social networks. Write to us if you’d like to help out.*
3. Connect to your City Rep
Write to the City Reps closest to you and let them know how you’re keen to participate, which brings us to…
4. Organize a Social / Iftar in your City
We’re an open network and love to hear from alumni who want to organize meet-ups in their city. Perhaps you know a good venue for an alumni mixer or a great restaurant for that upcoming iftar.
Write to your City Rep if you’d like to get started. We’ll help you with publicity and identifying other alumni in your area.
5. Connect us to other Alumni
Alumni networks become stronger when more alumni are involved.

We especially need connections from those who graduated more than 10 years ago!
6. Serve on our Board & other volunteer positions
